Hello and welcome to another episode of the Mark Groves podcast.

Today I'm coming at you with a solo episode, one that I wanted to throwback, kickback, old school style, and record without video and just flow with you on something that I read, a quote that I heard a long time ago that really

0:22.4

resonated with me and I feel really called to share with you some of my thoughts about it.

Because I think this, these words are written in a frequency that is transformative.

0:36.7

That is a call, you know.

And I think a lot of podcasts, videos, words, written, books, just language and people's

being asked of us, that there's something resonant in it that we needed to hear that kind of

1:43.5

maybe we were in circumstances where

1:45.1

intuition said, this isn't safe, we can't be here. And yet, we don't have a choice. So the soul

1:52.2

kind of experiences this being at odds with our biology and the recognition that biology has to win

1:59.5

there. It's like how Gaboromante says that all has to win there.

2:04.0

It's like how Caboramante says that all humans have two needs.

2:07.9

We have the need to self-express and we have the need to belong.

2:12.3

But when self-expression threatens belonging, belonging usually wins.

2:17.4

And this is, I think, the journey of awakening is this awareness of like, why do I do what I do,
