Welcome to the Get Fit Guys' quick and dirty tips to slim down and shape up. My name is Brock Armstrong,

0:09.1

and I'm the Get Fit Guy. Heart rate-based workouts are nothing new, but there is a new gym chain in

0:16.8

town that claims to have cracked the code. So I did some undercover investigation to get the goods

0:23.3

on whether or not the theory behind Orange Theory is flawed or fit. So there's a newish chain of

0:30.4

gyms popping up around the world and it's called Orange Theory Fitness. And after hearing a few of the

0:36.6

athletes that I coach rave about it,

0:38.7

I figured I should probably give it a try. Happily, they offer a free trial session, so really,

0:44.0

I had nothing to lose, except for perhaps my fitness dignity. So I put on my fake nose and

Orange Theory Fitness location around the globe, we'll be doing this same

1:12.7

group endurance workout all day to day, from Vancouver to Melbourne, from Tampa to Seoul,

1:20.0

Winchester to Lubeck. Everyone is getting sweaty with the Orange Endurance workout. And this is how

1:26.4

the workout went. After a three-minute warm-up on the

1:29.1

rowing machine, we moved over and did a dumbbell set that was a combination of step-ups with

1:34.5

dumbbells in your hand, mountain climbers, lateral raises, weighted bench crunch, and then we zipped over to

1:41.8

the rowing machines and did an all-out 600-meter effort.

1:46.0

Then we had a TRX set, which was a combination of chest press, bicep curl, lateral pull-down,

1:53.0

squat jumps, and then back onto the rowing machine for an all-out 600-meter row.

1:58.0

Now after that was done, which took about 26 minutes at that point, we moved over to

2:03.1

the other part of the gym where the treadmills and the rowing machines were. And we did a treadmill set,
