There's a time, like the biggest names in hunting industry were like Michael Waddell and Tiffany Likoski. I mean, how does that happen? You know, like 20-something year old girl is all of a sudden the top of the food chain and started hunting. Welcome back to the White Tail podcast presented by Moultrie. This episode is with none other than Lee Likoski. I never cared about, you know, money or job. All that I really cared about was hunting for most of my life, even I remember my sister would be like,

0:24.3

you're never going to do anything with your life. All you think about is hunting, probably, but I feel sorry for you that you're not passionate about something enough, you know, because I'll never be depressed. I'll never be anything because I always have hunting to look forward to. It's always that to look forward to. We talk about the status of whitetail hunting. We talk about how Lee got to where he is today and how to maximize some simple rut tips for this fall. I hope you guys enjoy it. Here we go. I'd be way happier that if I would have won the lottery and been able to do all the stuff that I love and be out of the public the guy 100%. Like when we first started I mean, I had to make bows for Tiffany. I had to, you know, because I worked at an archery shop for eight years through, through high school and college and stuff. And so I would have to, and they didn't make anything that would be like remotely to a 24 inch draw or 50 pounds, so I'd have to short string stuff and, you know, you have you have 70-pound limbs like find the right limbs to get it to be like 50 pounds when you short-string it and stuff and that's really like when we first started doing the show I thought that she was like a little chubby girl because she's only like 5-2 and so you'd have to have like like men's smalls or men's medium there I was all with baggy on her she they were walking she's like a walking box you know because it's just like you know you couldn't find there was no shoes

1:32.5

no women's anything and i'd have to say that i would bet that 90% of all the women's stuff

1:40.4

out there now was probably started because of Tiffany because you think about it

1:46.7

um you know how hard it is to get like into the hunting industry and how many people want to do

1:55.3

stuff like on social media and they all you know want to be the hat signers like I'm saying like

1:59.7

Tiffany never wanted any of that and she never pretended to be that. But there's a time like the biggest names in the hunting industry were like Michael Waddell and Tiffany Likoski. I mean, how does that happen? You know, like a, you know, a 20-something year old girl is all of a sudden the top of the food chain and started hunting. Who would have ever predicted that? Yeah. But just because of that, though, just got so many women into hunting and young girls especially. Like at the time, there was like Brenda Valentine, some other women, but they didn't, like, young girls didn't really relate to Brenda Valentine. Maybe like young girls don't to Tiffany now, and maybe there's somebody

else coming up in the wings. But so many young girls were coming to see her because, hey, it's not,

2:41.1

this is somebody still a girl, you know, never trying to act like some tomboy, this great hunter.

2:46.2

I mean, she'd be the first one to get lost and admit it. I mean, everybody just loved her.

2:50.5

And just how many, like, the bows and the boots and admit it. I mean, everybody just loved her. And just how many,

2:51.7

like the bows and the boots and the women's clothing and stuff for her was inspired really by her.

2:57.6

I mean, broadheads and I mean, the plus peas and all that's, all that kind of stuff for better

3:03.0

penetration and shorter stuff. I mean, there's, I think, a lot of it, if you take about, I would say about 90% of the women's products out there would probably wouldn't have been if there wasn't a Tiffany.

3:14.0

That's crazy.

3:15.0

3:38.7

put something up there and see and we're just lucky lucky that we knew. It was that guy who has a business of doing this. I've known him for 20 years plus. You met him a long time ago. And then he started a company, you know, tearing down all the old wood, all the barns and stuff. and stuff so you know all the wood has a story too
