Welcome back everybody to The Incomparable.

I'm your host, Jason Snell.

It's time for us to do another one of what we call a reading list.

This is a just thin sham of a subject that allows us to talk about books we like and give

you some ideas about books that you might want to read.

We've done a couple of them in the past, but it's been a while, and I thought it might

be nice to do a new one.

Now, originally I had suggested a premise that was sort of like our take on what a classic of science fiction and fantasy

would be today like our we decide the classics and i suggested that and scott said i hate the

word classics don't do that so that's not what this episode is about scott mcnulty hello said, I believe I said you could do that. I just

won't be part of it. And I will be happy to listen to it. But you decided not to do it. So I'm here

now. Hello. That's right. I decided I liked you more than my premise, my stupid premise. So
