episode. Hello, Casey McFarland. How are you? Well, hello. I'm so excited to be here.

I'm excited to have you. We have such a fun couple of conversations in store for all of you,

both today and next Monday. This is a conversation about early Christian

history. And Casey happens to be somebody who is far more knowledgeable than I am about this. I think,

I'm pretty sure. It wouldn't be hard to be much more knowledgeable than me because I'm kind of new to

this gig. But I really love it. And I chose him for

a couple of reasons. One reason, you're all going to have to stay tuned to the end of this episode

because we have a little bit of an announcement, a surprise, if you will, that we want to

share with you at the end. But before we do that, I want to set us up for what we're going to be

Why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself, Casey?

Jeez.

You know, I live in the Cash Valley, Logan, Utah, just northern Utah.

And wife and four kids, my wife is kind of a mystic. We're kind of like a blended mixed family all over the place.

I co-host a podcast with Will Wood called Pioneering Paradox. We do dive into some of these

a lot of topics. The paradox that we face in the Latter-Distate community, you know, I've just, I love,

I'm always fascinated with church stuff.
