Summary

Fr Dana Christensen joins to Dr. Taylor Marshall to explain his recent fatal diagnosis with ALS (“Lou Gehrig’s disease”) and how this disease will incapacitate him as a priest and take his life in 3-5 years. He draws on Catholic teaching and the tradition of Lent to show that we are all called “ashes to ashes and dust to dust.” From original sin, we are all destined to die. 0:17.1	asked to carry these crosses at this time and this crisis. It's hard to wrap my mind around.

0:24.8	these years and so to hear one of our good priests suffering and then of course
0:30.1	offering this suffering in union with Christ. it's an inspiration but it is hard
0:34.5	for us lay people who admire these good priests, traditional priests, priests who
0:38.6	love the gospel, scripture, tradition, all these things, to see them suffering.
