And today, we're talking about everyone's favorite satirical award ceremony, the Razies.

Right, Will?

Specifically, we're talking about a collection of films that is on the Criterion channel right now.

If you go to the main page, you'll see that they have a selection of movies called And the Razzie

goes to that brings together not exactly the best of the Razies, not exactly the worst of the Razzies either.

Whatever criterion had available.

Yeah. So, okay, first things first, I think that this is not a very well-c curated selection of movies.

It's basically a mix of movies that have either been reclaimed by film Twitter as actual good movies or sort of

kitschy not very good stuff that has movie stars that people like. Would you say that's fair?

Are you saying that Gile hasn't been reclaimed by film fans? That's something that actually

has value? Has it? You've actually seen it recently.

No, it's terrible.

It's never going to be reclaimed.

It's basically a movie that is only remembered by the people that were at a very specific

age when that film was being released.

Other than that, it should completely blasted off of, you know, history's memory, because who

cares?

Also in the collection is the 2002 Madonna vehicle, Guy Ritchie's swept away. You've seen that one, right? Terrible. Yeah, terrible movie. No one's reclaiming that one either. Yeah, so some stuff like that, and including one of the movies that we're going to talk about on this episode. But then there are, there are also movies in the collection.

And frankly, I wish it had just focused on stuff like this. Movies that are actually good.

Or if not, if not, or maybe some might disagree, but movies that you can make a case for,

movies that are interesting, movies that seem to be chafing against the received wisdom of whatever eras they came out in.
