Welcome in, everyone, to this week's edition of the Deer Hunter podcast Friday, May 30th,

and you are in the studio.

A little bit of a short intro here this morning, and we'll get right into it.

I'm joined this week by my good friend Jared Shuffler.

And this was kind of thrown together last minute. I can always count on Jared. Jared is a very

dependable person. I had some things happened yesterday with what I had intended to do this week for a

podcast that kind of fell apart on me. And so I got to thinking, I was like, who can help pull this together because of what I

really wanted to do?

I maybe made mention of this in the last couple shows that I had been recently kind of

diving into what a lot of archery and hunting gear costs now.

I was kind of a little bit caught off guard and then I got a little bit

discouraged and I was like man is this going to be a tough point of entry for people moving forward

if gear is this expensive I started thinking about how we did it and everything was garage sale and hand me down and by the age of

1415 we were killing deer you know so I thought who would be better to talk about bootstrapping

an operation than Jared Shephler. If you know and have listened to

a deer hunting podcast, you've probably heard some of Jared's stories about what he went through

to get the company up and operational and what those guys had to do to be able to afford to be

able to go out hunting and film and capture that and get that company operational.
