0:56.5	Terrifying Encounter and Small Town, Ohio, from Sindolina.
1:05.1	Back in the 80s, my dad had a friend named Joe, who worked for the Ohio Parks and Wildlife Division.
1:12.2	He normally worked in the Columbus area.
1:14.8	However, on this occasion, he was in a town called Defiance, where the Independence Dam State Park is located.
1:23.0	Joe described the park as being well hidden, nestled between a wide river and a thick forest of tall trees.
1:30.0	Once inside, it was long and narrow with a small camping area in the back, one way in, one way out, and nothing but dense steep forest behind it.
1:41.0	This is his story.
1:44.3	Joe met with the sheriff, David, I believe, at his office.
1:48.6	The day was pretty much uneventful until around 9 p.m. when a call came in, requesting the sheriff and Joe respond to a couple camping out at the dam.
1:59.0	After about a 15 minute drive through the park, they arrived at the very last campsite where an older, silver RV sat.
2:07.1	A couple in their mid to late 40s was standing outside waiting.
