Introduce yourself, sir. I'm Bill Stiger. I'm the

chief executive officer of something called Malaria No More. Malaria no more. Okay. Are you engineering

mosquitoes like Bill Gates or what's going on with that we are not directly engineering any

mosquitoes but we are teaching and translating and promoting talking about why malaria matters to us

in the u.s and what we can do about it sure um i mean certainly it's a preventable situation

there's no need to that that's one of those things where let's not be,

let's not be dumb, you know, I mean, I feel like there's some stuff in modernity that we should

keep a close eye on. And there's some stuff, it's like, well, what, what's the point of all the

technology if we're not going to use it to our advantage?

Absolutely. This is a completely treatable, preventable and treatable disease. It's been with us with us for thousands of years, but it does not have to be with us anymore.

So let's talk about your background a little bit. Where'd you grow up? I grew up in Washington, D.C.C. But my whole family is from Wisconsin, a little small town called Ashkosh. Oh, yeah. Everybody knows Oshkosh because of the children's clothing line, I think, right? That's right. It's either Ashkosh, Bagash, the overalls, the Experimental Aircraft Association, if you earned that thing, they have the fly in every July, or Ashkosh

truck, which makes a whole number of military-grade vehicles that a lot of your listeners probably

have driven around in. Oh, wow. What kind of military vehicles? They were, still are, kind of

next generation after the Humvee, a lot of armored, armored transportation vehicles.

Oh, like a striker?

Yeah, exactly.

I think Stryker is an Ashkosh truck product.

Oh, I didn't know that.

Wow, great.

So I imagine for at least a little while you bounced back and forth from D.C. to Virginia. I'm sorry, from DC to Wisconsin.
