Welcome back.

It is somewhere in the middle of the first round of what I think is probably the craziest NBA playoffs, first round series that we've ever had in the history of the sport

that I can remember.

They went to this format in 1984 and there have been some fun ones, but I mean, Cody,

I was just trying to think about like today, oh, 2023, the cover years for a second,

the bucks in the heat. That was crazy. And then

the Gold State Warriors, they had this awesome series against the Sacramento Kings. And it was really

fun that the, you know, the Lakers and the Grizzlies, Lakers all of a sudden look like they're a

much better team. And yeah, I don't think there were too many other things going on.

And right now we have like six series that are fantastic. I just, there's literally too much

basketball. Um, I, I don't even know where to begin. I, I know where to begin because a fun

PSA that I think we send out every playoffs is that the plural of series

is in fact series, right? So anyone that wants to talk about multiple of the series that are crazy,

you can just say that many of these series are crazy, right? It's like, I know, I know, listen,

growing up the Northwoods in the middle of the woods, you always hear like fish is the plural of fish, but if you get into some textbooks, some like hoity to

y persons, like it's fishes, nope, fish can also just be the plural of fish. So that's obviously

we have to start today is with that grammar. And the only reason we start there is, I don't

know about you, Ben, but I'm, I'm exhausted'm I'm exhausted from watching the boxing match that is the Orlando Magic versus the Detroit Pistons.

And I know you're usually the one that's going to point us in a direction you go, but that is the only thing that's at top of mind because I know you and I were live chatting about it with some other thinking basketball people.

And I just cannot believe the physicality and the spacing and just the unbelievable fight that an eight seed is putting up against a one seed and has that one seat on the ropes right now.
