What a great verse, especially when

you were walking through some kind of decision in your life, your family, or in the church or at work,

you're just asking for wisdom from God. I always go to Psalm chapter 16 verse 7 actually a couple of Psalms and this is one

I can think about times in our life where we think,

you know, it would be helpful if I talked to a counselor.

Can anybody recommend a counselor for me? Then we start looking for

counselors and then I step back and think, wait a minute. This is not to say human

counselors aren't helpful. They certainly are, but the Lord has called himself in his

word my counselor. The God of the universe gives me counsel. I mean this isn't just going to a buddy of mine or even some

professional somewhere and saying hey can I get some counsel this is going

before the God of the universe and saying,

please counsel me, and he says, I will.
