In this episode, we welcome back Shane Vandergiesen to talk about Mountain Goat hunting.

In the previous episode, number 371, we heard about Shane's background and his very first

mountain goat hunt.

And as you may have heard in that conversation, I found out at the end of our chat that

he was going on another mountain goat hunt this fall in September of 2022.

And after that hunt, I had an opportunity to speak with Shane again and that is today's

conversation.

So this was partially to selfishly hear about Shane's experience in Alaska hunting

mountain goat because his hunt was just a few weeks before my hunt, which I'm actually

on right now as this is being released.

So I was anxious to hear from Shane about his experience hunting mountain goat in Alaska.

And yes, this conversation was somewhat selfish on my part, but there's so much again

to learn from all these conversations.

And I've always found it fascinating in this podcast to speak with people who hunt in

different ways than I do, hunt different places and different species.

And so I would just encourage you that maybe you're never going to go on a mountain goat

hunt in Alaska, maybe you will either way.

There's going to be something that you can pick up from this story to be informed by or

inspired by.
