Hey everyone, welcome to Kill Me Now with Judy Gold. I am your host, Judy Gold, and

this week we have part one of my interview with the one and only, Dulce Sloan, who is, well,

she is a correspondent on the Daily Show, but she's also a great comic. So that was fun. I've been

dying to have her on for a while. And the first part of our conversation takes place in a car,

well, she's in a car coming from a doctor's appointment, and then we had a stop, and she went

upstairs to her apartment, and we continued our conversation, because she had a doctor's appointment,

she was gonna need, and whatever. So I hope that's okay with everyone. Also, I just wanted to say,

there's an organization, which I've spoken about this before. A called comedy gives back, and

as comedians, we are not the most secure in our jobs, and it's hard sometimes when we get sick,

or, you know, something unforeseen happens to us, and times turn tough. So comedy gives back,

was created by people work in the comedy industry, so that comedians have resources to turn

to when times get really bad, like a pandemic, or an illness, or an accident, or whatever.

Comedy gives back is the safety net for the comedy community by providing financial, crisis

relief, mental health, chemical dependency, treatment, sponsorship, and continued community support.
