listening. Greetings and welcome everyone. I don't mean to be overly

dramatic with a with a cold open this week but here we find ourselves unfortunately

needing to talk about some pretty heavy subjects because unacceptable shit just keeps happening.

I guess is the best way I can lead into some heavy topics that we are going to talk about off the top of the show.

Joss, there's been a lot of talk,

a lot of very hard to read experiences shared

in regards to sexual misconduct in basically every

corner of the internet right now over the weekend. It seemed to kind of start off in the gaming industry sphere, but I think it is very quickly spun out from there and it's very much like a

yet another me-toing

and it's hit Harstone as well.

So I think that for people like me for women that's not a shock but I

think the rest of the community and the gaming community and the wider world is having a tough time

processing. Yeah, I, um, it, I, I, I, I, I, I guess what I want to do is not, like this is not a subject that has affected me personally and I don't have personal experience with

it, but in hopes that anyone listening that is like me and has been lucky enough to not have to deal with this in their life,

I would like to share that over the years of working with you and other women professionally for now a long time, my eyes have really even opened to

just dark unacceptable behavior.

Like it's just from the you know the most passive sexism of like a YouTube comment to far far worse behavior.

That's not sorry Garrett. I don't mean to step on your words, but that's not even passive sexism. Like passive sexism is just not including women in things. Like that is active active sexism the kind of comments and stuff that we get

sometimes yeah I guess I meant comments that yeah like me read as if they are unaware of

how sexist they are being.
