In a world of ever-changing wellness trends and information, what does it mean to truly be well?

0:12.1

I'm Ariel Laurie and I'm going to explore this with you.

0:16.0

I am bringing you candid conversations that will equip you with everything you need to live your best life

0:21.2

and look good doing it. Think of well as your go-to resource for all of the latest in wellness

0:26.1

and me as your internet bestie. Well, let's get into it. Hi, everybody, welcome to the show. First off, I want to wish you all a belated happy new year. I wanted to get you a

0:42.9

solo episode sooner. I know I've been talking a lot about doing more solos, but scheduling issues

0:49.6

arose, especially around the holidays. So here we are, more solos coming. And I have to just say, and I'm sure

0:58.6

anybody else in L.A. understands this. It has been a freaking long year. I'm recording this on Friday,

2:04.9

at least after the trauma. When it's happening, I can be very action-oriented. I can take

2:11.2

whatever action is necessary to move through it. But in this situation, I had some not great moments. And then once the acuteness of the

2:19.6

fires subsided a bit, I just was like paralyzed. I was paralyzed. I was exhausted as I think so many of us

2:26.9

were. And then there's like the added layer of social media being my job and sharing my life on

2:34.0

social media. And it's just not in

2:35.6

my nature to get on and start talking about it. And it's a tricky thing. And I really wanted to be
