Organic REV
The first thing to understand about REV is that it is not an ordinary humic acid product that is chemically-extracted from leonardite, lignite, or other coals.
Rather, it is a 100% naturally-occurring carbon, humic acid & fulvic acid source - along with exceptionally high levels of naturally-occurring microbial biomass
that can increase nitrogen efficiency by up to 25%.  REV replaces depleted soil carbon & bacterial biomass - and absorbs nutrients to make them more readily
available to plants via their root systems.

Hey there and welcome back to the Beginners Garden podcast. Today we're going to have a very

0:04.4

frank discussion when it comes to organic gardening and specifically pests. This is the time of

0:11.9

year where our best laid plans get a reality check and that reality check comes in the form of

0:18.9

bugs. When we're dreaming of our gardens, especially in January, February, or before all of the

0:24.9

bugs come out of hibernation, we have dreams of a homegrown, pristine, organic harvest, and

0:32.5

probably about June, about now, we start to realize, if not a little bit before, that those dreams are very well on

0:39.3

the way to getting threatened. Now, before you get discouraged, before you give in and go by a

0:46.4

bottle of the red stuff that sounds like your favorite number, please don't, or before you

0:51.5

give up altogether, let's just have a talk about organic gardening

0:55.3

when we're dealing with the very real presence of crop eating bugs. Because the truth is,

1:02.3

if we are wanting to do an organic garden, we can't just assume that we can go hands off and just

1:08.2

pretend all the bugs aren't there or that we can just switch one to one

1:12.5

our inorganic pesticides for organic ones and expect that to work. But there are things that we can do

1:19.0

and organic gardeners like myself do this every single year. But what I wanted to do today is talk

1:25.6

to you about some things you need to know about gardening

1:28.3

organically in your vegetable garden. Yes, it can be done. Yes, there are some methods that I'm

1:34.8

going to be sharing with you today. But more than that, I think there's just some things that

1:39.3

is important for us to know at the outset what we're dealing with when it comes to growing our vegetables

1:45.0

organically in our home garden.

1:48.8
