Hey, Jim, you're talking about a lot of things that are anything but upbeat. It can be depressing, actually.

But I'll tell you, there is something that is really upbeat, one of the greatest baseball seasons ever, as we head into what promises to be sensational playoffs with a half dozen spots still undetermined with four days to go.

Look, we're both disappointed with the demise of

our once world champion Washington Nationals. But let's just look at what this season is seen.

Shohay Otani of the LA Angels, the most accomplished pitcher batter in the history of baseball.

That includes Babe Ruth. 37-year-year-old Max Scherzer dealt to the

Dodgers in July about to win his fourth Saw Young Award. James, I hope that we're still

around to go to the Hall of Fame induction in Cooperstown for the most competitive player we've

ever known. Three, 22-year-olds, Juan Soto, Vladimir Guerrero, and Fernando Tate's, all possible

MVP, along with Otani. The St. Louis Cardinals coming out of nowhere and winning 17 straight

games in September. This has been an incredible season, and I can't wait for the playoffs to

start next week.

Boy, you're right. And if I had to rank all of the stories, I think you got them in pretty good order.

Yeah.
