Well, welcome to the Huntback Hunter podcast. This is episode number 370.

And today I am going to do something I don't normally do, and that is run solo on a podcast episode.

So if you're new to the show, this is Mark usually hosts the podcast with a guest,

sometimes with Steve from Exo Mountain Gear as well. And usually I just don't,

I don't, I don't necessarily care what people think I have to say. I'm much more interested in

having conversations with other people and learning from them and what their experiences are. But

today, the reason I'm doing this episode solo is to talk about a rifle. A rifle that I've

built a couple of years ago that has been out there in different things in different ways.

And I've gotten questions about so one, I wanted to talk about the rifle to address some questions.

And then two, I just don't think there is necessarily enough in depth information on things.

You can say high dollar gear in general. So this is a custom rifle. Definitely something that is

investment of a good chunk of change. And I feel like there's a lot of, oh cool, check out my new

custom rifle that was just built. But I don't feel that there's enough objective transparent

information after the fact, meaning I spent all this money like here's what I did wrong or what I

would change or how things have been going now years later and not just when I got this new

fancy thing. So I just want to talk through it on the podcast. And this is an addition to an

article basically that I wrote about this rifle build as well. And so I'm going to speak to all

the components of this rifle and essentially summarize some things. But if you guys want to see

the rifle itself, if you want links to any of the items that I mentioned today, then definitely

go check out that article that I wrote as well. So this article in the podcast are going to

cover some of the same ground, but complement each other. And I'll certainly say some things in
