Hello and welcome to Iroquois History and Legends. I'm Andrew. And I'm Caleb.

0:17.8

And welcome to episode 37, our second part in the American Revolution series.

0:23.0

This week we're actually going to try to get into the American Revolution.

0:26.1

We keep trying to start it and we keep having to give all this backstory stuff.

1:33.0

So now I'm going to do my best to try to keep them in some positive light without referring to them as these traitors.

1:40.2

Well, to him, we're the traitors.

1:42.2

Yeah, I guess you're right.

1:43.2

Anyway, as all this is going on in April 1775, a group of British red coats were intercepted by a local militia who learned that the British were on their way to confiscate all their weapons in Massachusetts.

1:57.1

This soon escalates into a series of battles that we call today Lexington and Concord,
