A scholar of the Old American West, Mark has authored some wonderful books, including

Two Hell on a Fast Horse, a book about Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett, which we discussed

a few months back.

He's also written a book called Rough Riders, Theodore Roosevelt, His Cowboy Regiment

and the Immortal Charge of San Juan Hill.

As exciting as that sounds for a topic today, it won't be.

Instead he's here to discuss my favorite of his books, Shot All To Hell, Jesse James,

the North Field Raid and the Wild West's greatest escape.

So this is a story about a bunch of pretty famous Missouri outlaws who decide to, and

probably against their better judgment, head north out of their element and rob a Minnesota

bank.

I'm eager to talk about the North Field Bank Raid in detail with you, but before we get
