At any rate, hello. Today I want to talk about losing friends and family squabbles.

And it sounds like quite the uplifting topic, doesn't it?

But I hope by the time you're finished you'll be encouraged.

One of the surprising effects of this past year's craziness

is how many families have had falling out with their extended family members and of course

you know family squabbles are not totally new by any means but something this year has

made it easier for old friendships to crumple under pressure.

And of all times too when you would think

people would want to stick together.

And I know I've talked to many people who have had falling out in their extended families over this stuff.

You may have old friends who've written you off over the mask issue or won't be friends with anyone who voted for Trump.

Your aunt won't let you visit your grandma, even though grandma isn't worried about getting the virus.

Your sister won't come to family dinners because of your... isn't

worry about getting the virus. Your sister won't come to family dinners

because of your conservative politics. So,

how do you process a family squabble over masking up of all things?
