May 9th. And the word of the day is organic, which means derived from living matter.

Used in a sentence, every vegetable is organic. But now we have a new definition so it can also mean

produced without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or other artificial

agents, in which case no vegetable is organic.

Correct.

Because all fertilizers are made of chemicals.

Everything is made of chemicals, water is a chemical.

Maybe we start using those words correctly.

And you know, or just add stupid, more expensive and terrible for the environment is a third definition for organic.
