All right, Kenna. So you're currently looking to buy a house here in the great city of Los Angeles. Is that correct?

Yes. Well, I guess you can't afford a proper whole house, right? So you're looking

to go in with a friend to buy a duplex together so you can each live in one unit like a condo,

right? Yeah. And what's your experience about with us?

Fucking nightmare, man. It's really hard, right?

It makes me feel, like, I know like it's like capitalism or whatever, but it makes me feel some type of shame or like way because it's just like, if you didn't have these student loans, your credit would be higher. If you would have paid this bill on time, like you could have gotten this house, but you didn't pay it on time. And I was like, well, I was broke because I was sick. I couldn't pay the bill.

And it's really competitive, right? Oh, it's really competitive and you're competing with people

who aren't even going to live in the house. Yeah, exactly. Like, the median house price in Los Angeles

right now is $950,000. Uh, yeah, that makes total sense. Yeah, it's not exactly achievable though yeah we looked at a

place that was like perfect duplex for us went 500 thousand dollars over asking price i think

the one that we looked at oh yeah i went with you yeah yeah 500 000 over asking that's i guess

par for the course that's what you expect, but it's horrible.

Yeah, and like obviously splitting that $950,000 in half with a friend,

if you get like a duplex because they're around the same price,

that makes it a little better, right?

It's like, what, $475,000 each?

Yeah.

So that's a lot more achievable, but it's still rough i mean i don't it's like it's i couldn't even imagine finding like a single bedroom in los angeles for less than

475 right one of our friends just did it she's paid, she paid 425,000. But that was just a,
