Outstanding and here we go we're going to talk about Markdown and multi-markdown with this episode

We we weren't sure if we should do it or not. I sent

some tweets out and got a lot of people excited about it. Other people are going to

be scratching their head having no clue with this episode. It's about... And that's okay, because I was there. Yeah, okay. what this

about and that's okay because I was there okay but just listen stick with us for 10 or 15 minutes and if it's not your thing you don't have to finish but you may find that this

mark down and multi mark down stuff is pretty good for you.

It's really cool. I think it's something that I could use. I think it's something that it will come in

handy and I've I've dug into this for a couple of hours trying to get ready for

this show and I think it's intriguing so hang in there and let's see

let's see how this goes. Okay but first a history lesson. Mark Down was

written by John Gruber and Aaron Swartz, John Gruber of course of Daring Fireball fame, who's the chief Apple

blogger, everybody likes to read Daring Fireball and John has always got real insightful

ideas.

He tends to know things.

And he's also a hack, a computer nerd, you know,

hacker, whatever you want to say.

And he's got the credibility to put something together.

So I guess I've never spoken with him about this,

but I guess this really arose out of his blog

or his desire to post to the web better than we had with
