Hello Heroes and welcome to another exciting episode of One Shot.

I'm James Damato, your Game Master.

This week in our C2E2 celebration we are taking a little bit of a dramatic turn

as we play Batman Flight of the Robins.

Flight of the Robins is a Shadow Run module that I run every year at Gencon.

In flight of the Robins all of Batman's current and former sidekicks have to band together in order to save the dark night in a mystery that takes them across Gotham City.

Despite the pulpy nature of the premise, the story itself is actually pretty dark.

The lightness and levity usually comes from player interactions.

However, the majority of our guests this week were new to the idea of role playing in general.

So the game mostly stands on the core story, which is intense and grim.

What I'm trying to say here is this is not your usual one-shot chuckle fest, but it's still a good game.

Speaking of our guest this week, our guest came from the D-20 Girls Nonprofit Organization,

an organization dedicated to raising the profile of ladies in gaming, comics, and really

any nerdy activity that you can think of.

While members of the Illinois chapter of the D20 girls knew a lot about video games and comics.

This was their first experience with a role-playing game, and I think we won some converts

with it.

We also invited on Mercy Malice of the Supergirls Facebook group. A fan page dedicated to raising the profile of ladies who are literally in comics.

Heroes, I encourage you to look up all of our guests. They are doing some great work for ladies in nerdy.
