I'm Adam Young, and today we are going to talk about

sexual abuse that doesn't involve touch.

In my counseling practice, I have found

the phenomenon of subtle sexual abuse

to be the root of much of what torments people,

but it flies under the radar.

Oh, how it flies under the radar.

So let's begin with a provocative sentence.

If your parents did not have a passionate, healthy marriage,

a deep emotional connection, then it is likely that either you

or your sibling has experienced some measure

of subtle sexual abuse.

Today we're going to look at what it is,

and I'll explain why that's the case.

In my opinion, there is nothing on the planet

that does more damage with less notoriety

than subtle sexual abuse.

So let's dive in.
