Hello, everyone. Welcome back to Tea with Publicity. This is an exciting episode for so many reasons. First of all, I'm like chomping at the bit because I secured the interview of the century.

I have couch guy's girlfriend, aka Lauren Zarras, on to set the record straight, on her relationship, what went down, did she surprise him with his friends knowing what was going on with the girls who were sitting next to, she clarifies the hair tie situation, all of that.

If you are tuning in for that interview, that will be later on in the episode during the spill the tea segment. And for those of you that don't know what I'm referring to, basically this video went viral on TikTok. It was this girl Lauren surprising her boyfriend Robbie, and I posted them on my Instagram story, so if you have no idea what I'm talking about, you can go reference them there or DM me if those stories are down by now.

But basically she walks in to surprise her boyfriend at college, and the video has reached 52 million people, like one of the most viral videos ever. And the internet is exploding because they're not happy with his reaction. Basically they're like, he wasn't happy enough, he was acting sketchy, he was sitting next to girls, he has a hair tie on his wrist, what's up with that.

And it was just supposed to be a wholesome video of a girl surprising her boyfriend, and it has the internet fuming saying that she's blind, she's in denial, really hateful, awful things, and she talks more about death threats and the way people have been treating her.

So my initial gut was that he was just taking it back and he was a little timid, and we will hear the truth directly from Lauren's mouth. So you definitely want to stay tuned for that.

And then why else I'm so excited is because I also have Erica Priscilla on this week, and she is not only a friend of mine, she is incredible on TikTok.

You've probably seen her videos with her fiance, they do parody videos, she makes fun of influencers, it's like a whole freaking thing, and she's so incredible.

So we have two heavy hitters today, I am so thrilled. And I'm just going to catch you guys up on my weekend. So again, just to give you an overview of the pod for today, it will be catch up with me.

Interview with Erica, ask Alyssa with Erica, where we answer your advice questions and do our best to give you some sound advice, and then the spill the tea segment, which will be mainly focused on Lauren and the couch guy situation.

And this is an exclusive interview. I'm pretty sure this is the only one she has done and we'll be doing so you don't want to miss it.

So I posted on Instagram stories this morning a little bit about dating and to be completely frank and honest with you guys as I like to keep it 100.

I struggle sometimes with opening up about certain things because when I talk about my personal struggles with my job sometimes I get DMs and comments like,

we don't want to hear about you being an influencer, we don't like when you use that word.

But like that is the reality of my situation. So it's made me closed off and not want to share some things with you guys because I feel like I can't win in a way.

So the reality of the situation is that when I'm on dating apps I struggle with telling guys what I do for a living and I don't know if you guys just don't want to hear that or if you think I'm bragging.

I honestly feel like I'm in a lose lose because you want me to talk about dating but then you don't want me to talk about like the elephant in the room.
