coronavirus fatality rates and maybe how what you hear is not necessarily

reflective of the true risk. And I also have a list of U.S.

deaths and what we know about the people so far who have died in the United States, sort of

a snapshot in time.

So stay tuned for our podcast. In talking through fatality rates with coronavirus, I want to emphasize, obviously this is a fast moving target target the numbers are changing by the minute

so what I'm providing is more of a snapshot in time of what we know to date

rather than something that is to be taken comprehensively or something

that trumps more official or more recent information that may come out from sources like the

White House or the CDC.

The question that I'm asking today is,

is the death risk from coronavirus really getting smaller or is our math

getting better? And I say that because since the start of this whole crisis there have been some pretty frightening death rates publicized.

China's death rate was said they were approaching a very scary 4%.

That's way, way higher than the death rate for seasonal flu, according to CDC, which they

said is something less than 1 tenth of 1%.
