Maisun Zayed is an, professional stand-up comedian and writer.

She's the co-founder and co-executive producer of the New York Arab American Comedy Festival.

Meeseun was a full-time on-air contributor to countdown with Keith Olderman and has most

recently appeared on the Melissa Harris Perry Show and Huffington Post Live. She's

currently a writer at The Daily Beast and May soon has appeared on Comedy Central's The Watch List,

CNN, HBO, As the World Turns, Law and Order, MTV,

2020, and had a feature role in Adam Sandler's You Don't Mess with the

Zohan. She's also the founder of Maison's kids, a scholarship and wellness program

for disabled and wounded refugee children.
