now might be a good time to listen to those.

I would also recommend previous episodes on other battles of the Hundred Years' War,

to give more background. But if you've listened to those already, or want to continue anyway,

In the previous episode, I described how by 1436 the Hundred Years' War was turning in favour of the French,

with the key turning points, the siege of Orleans and the French victory of the Battle of Patee soon afterwards.
