how are you I'm doing excellent and this is a show I have been

looking forward to for a very long time. As listeners know I am a bit of a amateur

musician. I used to play a lot not so much anymore. I've always wanted to have someone on the show that is a serious, you know, film and television score and, you know, just an all-out amazing musician and I was talking to a couple friends and they

hooked me up with this amazing guest welcome to the show Michael Whalen.

David it's great to be here. Thank you Michael. I mean I feel like the universe has a line to put you on the Mac power users because if we had a Venn diagram, we need a Mac nerd. And Michael and I talked quite a bit recently, and your first Mac was the 512 K Mac. This guy got a long pedigree, right?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, deep, I'm a deep, deep, deep Mac guy.

Yeah, so he loves the Mac, and he's composed for 775 film and television scores over his career.

He's won two, and counting.

He's won two Emmy Awards, one for America at a Crossroads in 2007, the other one for

How Do You Spell God in 1997.

Also an independent recording artist just released a brand new album called Dream Cycle.

And so Michael, we've been wanting to have a music geek on the show that makes the most of their

Mac to compose and I can't imagine a better guy than you.
