Tonight's first encounter comes to us from Corey, and Corey's experience is called a soothing mother.

Corey says,

Hello again, I'm an OTR truck driver so I'm on the road more than I'm home and my wife is a stay-at-home wife and was unable to bear children since we had met.

This will be important later. I grew up on 40 acres about 30 miles outside

Norman Oklahoma that has been in my family since the late 1800s and was Native American

territory before we owned the property.

I moved away after high school and decided to build a house on that 40 acres after I married my

wife.

We moved in around September of 2019, and everything was great. A few months after we moved

in around January, it had snowed and was very cold, even in daytime. My wife called me while I was on the road, terrified.

She said that she could hear a baby crying outside in the pasture from inside the house,

and the pasture is about a football field's length away from the house.

When she went outside onto the porch to investigate, she could clear his day hear a woman trying

to soothe a crying baby.

She then called out,

Hello?

Hoping to get some kind of response back so she could help.

But none came.

Having lived on that property my entire life and never hearing anything like that before,

I didn't know what to tell my wife except to say that that's weird, but we brushed it off as just that.

Weird.
