| 0:58.1 | Well, the word, the word philosophy, so the word philosophy comes from these two Greek words, |
| 1:06.7 | these ancient Greek words, philos meaning love and Sophia meaning wisdom. |
| 1:11.6 | And now I didn't learn that until I was formally studying it. |
| 1:14.6 | But when I took my first philosophy class as a sophomore in college, |
| 1:21.6 | I realized that this was the kind of person that I was, that even though I hadn't formally studied philosophy |
| 1:30.7 | and I knew nothing about the history of ideas, I approached life with this sense of wonder |
| 1:39.5 | and curiosity and asking big questions and kind of never really being satisfied with the answers. |
| 1:50.5 | And so I kind of instantly fell in love with the love of wisdom. And I had some great professors |
| 2:00.6 | too and they were real inspiration to me and |
| 2:03.7 | and continued to be as I continued to study it moving on. I graduated from college with my |
