And today, Mel is going to share a simple bedroom hack

that you can put to use to increase your productivity

as well as your peace of mind and involves your cell phone.

Now, I've ranted about cell phones on the show before

and I've written about them in my emails.

And so I'm not going to go into the whole thing again.

I'm going to spare you.

But you may know that when I'm working on something,

I turn my phone off because when you have an awareness

of how much your phone totally hijacks your day,

when you become aware of that and you're willing to just turn it off

or put it in a drawer or leave it in a car.

Number one, you don't really miss it.

You know, it's funny.

Like, I get done with work and it'll be like, you know,

five o'clock on I'll turn it on.

I was like, there was no emergencies here.
