| 0:57.5 | You're in a results based business. You are judged on your outcomes. Life is a results based business. |
| 1:04.1 | Your life will be judged on what you did. Not what you didn't do, not what you almost did, |
| 1:09.1 | not what you could have did, not what someone got in the way of you doing. Your obituary. Everybody know what an obituary is? There's a little write-up that they give you after you did. If enough people know you and like you, when you die, it'll be a funeral. And at your funeral, there's going to be this little pamphlet. It's like four page pamphlet. You open it up. Actually, it might be, I don't know, depend on some of you. |
| 1:30.1 | If you're known enough, then your family does it. be this little pamphlet. It's like a four-page pamphlet. You open it up. Actually, it might be, |
| 1:28.6 | I don't know, depend on some of you. If you're known enough, then your family decides to spend enough money, you might get a six-page or an eight-page pamphlet that has a layout of all the things that you did in your life. Can you imagine 80 years of your life being reduced down to six pages or a paragraph like they used to doing a newspaper back in the day. |
| 1:44.7 | Most of some of you weren't around for newspapers. |
| 1:47.0 | Or a four- page pamphlet. Funerals that I've seen has been a four page pamphlet. I'm not a fan of going to funerals, but the couple that I've been to, the pamphil was about four pages. You got the front page with a picture of the person and in loving memory and it got the year they were born, the year they died, and the date they were born and died, a nice picture of them smiling. Then you open it up and the inside two pages talks about their life. And then the back page probably mentions the funeral home and the date of the funeral. That's it. That's your whole life. And inside those two inside pages where they talk about your life, that's all the stuff you accomplish goes in there. Not the would or could or could or should have any outcomes and they just talk about you in a positive way and they just say you were born here and you had this many kids and you worked at this company for this many years and they just, they kind of, they kind of talk around it if you don't really have any accomplishments to speak up. That's the way it goes. This is a results-based business. That's the point that I'm making. |
