yoga teacher, personal training, and nutritional counselor. His goal is to live a dynamic life

and help others do the same. Alex, that's a summary of your career. Tell our listeners around the world what you're engaged in now that has you excited and fired up. Yeah, every day I have to get, I mean, it's summer now, so I get my little hiatus here, but every day I got to be motivated to teach kids. I mean, that's still the number one mission. My goal is still to make my classroom a place of lifelong learning and somewhere they can be themselves and learn a lot. So always teaching, always learning. I also coach. I coach the girls and boys tennis team, so I'm always trying to get better at being a coach. The passion project right now, what's really going down is the beautiful Dust Spex podcast. It's really just podcasting in general. I might get to start another one with a friend Tanner Gears coming up here. But the podcast is, it's a passion project. It's pretty much what I want to get through. It's like taking the reins off me in the classroom and seeing what I can do, trying to show people that science is the grandest motivational tool you could possibly imagine. And a deeper understanding of the ordinary moments of the world are truly extraordinary. So that's what I'm always trying. I'm trying to get

2:21.4

better at that every day. I'm a yoga instructor. So I keep training. I keep going. I keep teaching.

2:26.5

Trying to figure out a way to, I want to start actually coaching coaches within the CrossFit world

and the personal training world and even the nutritional world a little bit. And I'm also active in researching ways, figuring out ways to implement more mindfulness in the classroom and just mindfulness in general. Because the more you teach, the more you see that the stress of being a kid these days is we always badmouthed kids because they are, they're getting more and more of a challenge, but they're just so stressed that they have so much going on, so many things going down. So it's always just about helping people. My mission is just to help people. And in the same time, help myself. The more I get into this and the more dynamic circles I become a part of, just it's a little selfish. It makes me a fuller person, which then I hope I can then spread that and diffuse that out through the rest of the world around me.

3:07.6

That's just the goal. Make today a better place than yesterday.

3:10.1

Yes, yes. Talk about science is the greatest motivational tool. I've never heard anybody

3:15.0

express it that way. I understand what I think I understand what you're saying. But talk about that
