What is up everyone? This is the Olympic Edition. In fact eight lessons the Olympics

taught me about greatness. I just got back from Rio in Brazil. I was there for the

week of the Olympics and what an incredible journey. I went to the London Olympics in 2012 and

for the first time I was at the Olympics then and I remember saying to myself there's no way I'm

going to miss the next one. It was just such an incredible magical experience for me on my

pursuit of being an Olympian myself. It's a dream of mine I've had since a kid for those that

are listening to the podcast for a long time. You know that I represent the United States National

Handball team which is team handball. It's actually the only sport that the US is not represented

at the Olympics this year is the sport that I play. So it's kind of like a bittersweet experience.

You know the the only thing that I play is the one thing that we're not represented at the

Olympics because you've got to win the Pan American Games in order to qualify for the Olympics

in team handball. I believe they only take 18 countries in total and that's just how it's set

up right now. So unfortunately we don't train enough together. We all started playing when we're

like 25 years old where these other countries they play together every day. They've got funding.

They've been playing since they were seven and it's just it's challenging for us to compete at

that level. But still a journey that I'm on and I wanted to go down there because I played against
