I'm your host, Cathaghanches Apologist and Speaker, Trent Horn, and I'm currently recording

this episode from my living room here in my house, which if all goes according to plan,

won't be our house much longer.

Things really worked out, providentially.

First, it's really nice to be back on the podcast and have new episodes airing for you.

We took, and I wanted to take some time off, paternity leave, spend some time with my family,

take a break from episodes.

But there's so many things I want to talk about.

I'm like, oh, I really would like to record an episode.

And Laura thought it'd probably be good to record an episode right now, even though I'm

on paternity leave, because this leave just took a completely different turn.

Now we had been considering leaving California for a while.

We've left before I'll get into that backstory here in a little bit.

And so we had been considering that, but now we've really kicked things into high gear.

So by the time this episode airs, it's possible that our house will already have been sold

and will be planning our move to leave California.

Before I reveal where we're going to, I want to give a little bit of a background.

So I actually grew up in California.
