the show that is very frustrated with people yelling out answers at Doug Loves Movies tapings.

But that's not going to stop me from doing Doug Loves Movies Tapings.

Coming to you from a hotel room in Austin, Texas on Friday, September 25th, 2015.

Yesterday it was day one of Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas.

I saw two movies, and as much as I love Fantastic Fest and its programmers, these two movies were not for me.

But first, I saw a non-Fantastic Fest movie, number 193 in the 365 movies and 365 Days Challenge, Black Mass.

Not a bad mob movie, but maybe one mob movie, too many.

And the Boston accents are super shaky.

Number 194, The Assassin, a beautiful-looking but boring storytelling.

Mm-hmm. a beautiful looking but boring storytelling martial arts movie.

Oh, it's hard to get that out.

When the fellow introducing the movie said it's more deliberately paced than Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

I knew I was in trouble because I thought Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon was a little slow.

Number 195, February starring Sally Draper, or Karen Shibka.

And it feels like a horror movie spin-off of Mad Men.

I like her.

I like Emma Roberts.

But this was slow-going.

The key word about all of the movies that I saw yesterday is slow.
