drunk lady tossing stand-up show at the crown upptown in Wichita, Kansas.

Thanks to the 500-plus people who attended, and apologies to those who got the boot

for smoking weed in the theater, and kudos to everyone who brought and got away with smoking

from vaporizers.

I'm falling farther and farther behind in the DLM challenge,

but I'm determined to watch 365 movies in 365 days.

Number 175 is a movie I kind of feel bad about recommending

when factoring in the horrific gun violence this week in Virginia.

Is it just me or does it feel like that slain reporter is the nicest person you'll never know?

But I loved the ultra-violent American Ultra.

While I really enjoy violence, especially the gun kind in movies, I struggle with it because

I find it so abhorrent in real life.

But this movie is a fun ride, and I hope to have some of the people involved in it on

Doug Love's movies soon.
