The show that ate in Edible this morning and wants to attempt to tell you about last night's Benson movie interruption of Kansas City Bomber,

and then play the opening from that show featuring co-interruptors Graham Elwood and

Scott Schaefer. It's Saturday, August 15. I'm Jack that I'm about to see straight out of

Compton while also enjoying some nice food at the Alamo Draft House.

But last night, I interrupted movie number 168 in the Douglas Movies Challenge,

the aforementioned KCB, Kansas City Bomber, which, as it turns out, barely takes place in Kansas City. And I'm going to try to

tell you about the movie now. Because you're not going to see it, or maybe you will after this

description. Maybe you'll be like,

that sounds amazing. Well, let me tell you,

it is not. Raquel Welch was a pretty big deal at the time,

so she's the star of the

thing, but she plays

this roller derby woman that is

just beaten down

by everyone, and there's never a reason for it. She seems perfectly nice,

kind of bland, not much of a personality, but, you know, it's Raquel Welch. She's an attractive

lady and she's out there giving her all out on the track. So she's on this team at this top beginning of the movie where she's in Kansas City

and another girl on the same team, she's Big Bertha, she starts like, they start smacking

into each other and it turns into this big fight and they're
