My name is Doug, and this is Doug Loves Minis,

the show that's a spin-off from the mothership, Doug Loves Movies,

for people who can't get enough of my plugs and opinions,

coming to you from Homestead, Pennsylvania,

home of the Pittsburgh Improv on Friday, July 11, 2015. I'll be doing two shows at the

aforementioned improv this weekend. Saturday, tomorrow, stand up at 420, but bring your name

tags because a game will be played, and a Douglas movies taping on Sunday, also at 420, also bring name tags.

Monday night I'll be doing my second annual goon screening in L.A., followed by a Q&A

with co-writer Evan Goldberg, and I think one of the actors from the film, Schedules

Permitting, CineFamily.org, for tickets.

Tuesday is will be the final free edition of Douglas movies at UCB, so join us at 7 o'clock sharp.

I'll still be doing shows in L.A. at both UCB locations and at Meltdown Comics.

They just won't be free, and they'll be over an hour instead of 45 minutes to an hour.

Wednesday night, I'm doing stand-up at the punchline in San Francisco, and again, bring name tags for some gameplay action.

On the flight from LAX to Chicago today, it was an old-ass plane where there was only one movie

option for everyone, divergent, insurgent, detergent.

I watched it, even though I'm not a big fan of the first one, and I got to say that the

quality of the acting and the action scenes kept first one, and I got to say that the quality of the

acting and the action scenes kept me interested. And there's a lot of twists, a lot of

shifting alliances, and whatnot. So it's movie number 128 of the DLM Challenge, and pretty brutal for a PG-13 movie aimed at teenage girls,
