Today we will look at what happens when you actually arrive at the clinic.

This part can be stressful too, because you may need to check in at the reception,

show your insurance card, or fill out forms.

Don't worry. We will learn the most common expressions. I will share some short examples,

and then we will finish with a fun point of your story. When you arrive at a clinic or doctor's

office, the first person you usually see, is the receptionist. Here are some useful

phrases. I'm here for my appointment. My name is John Smith. I have an appointment at 10 a.m.

Here's my ID and insurance card.

Do I need to fill out any forms?

This is my first time here.

I need to update my information.

The receptionists might say,

please take a seat in the waiting room.

Or, fill out these forms and bring them back.

We will call your name when the doctor is ready.

Do you have a co-pay today?

Co-pay means the part of the bill you pay even with insurance.
