Summary

Today we’re talking about something that might sound light — but is actually deeply meaningful. We’re talking about style. Not trends. Not fast fashion. Not “what’s in.” But identity. Presence. Expression. Becoming. I truly believe 2026 is the year we stop dressing small. In this episode, I share what’s been stirring in me as I plan my capsule wardrobe for our Mediterranean trip (Greece + Italy, here we come!) — and how this whole process has reminded me that confidence doesn’t live in your closet. Style is not about copying someone else’s aesthetic. It’s about asking: Who am I becoming? How do I want to feel when I walk into a room? What energy do I want to bring? We talk about: Why Lent isn’t about shrinking your life — but about stripping away what dulls you The emotional power of color and texture How midlife can tempt us to mute ourselves Why maximalist energy feels like a homecoming for me The difference between buying outfits and developing style And how a simple closet edit can wake you back up An invitation to: ✨ Stop apologizing ✨ Stop shrinking ✨ Stop dressing for who you were ✨ And step into your most alive, magnetic self Because the world doesn’t need a quieter version of you. It needs the truest version of you. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

So I am currently mixing, by the way, if you're watching on YouTube, you can see my adorable cup from Anthro. I am mixing my Earl Grey tea with some raspberry tea, and it is so delightful.

I didn't do it today, but I have been putting just a little splash of heavy cream, just a splash in my hot tea, as influenced by Savannah when we were in Minnesota last weekend. I tried hers and it was delicious.

But I will say this, we are currently in the Lenton season.

So for a lot of people, that is a time of fasting, simplifying, stripping things back,

and maybe talking about maximalist style during Lent. Feels ironic. But here's the thing.
