Hello, welcome. My name is Annie Rogers, and on behalf of the Attitude Team, I'm so

pleased to welcome you to today's ADHD Experts Presentation titled Motivating Your Child

with ADHD, What Ignites Interest and Energy for Learning. And leading today's webinar will

be Jerome Schultz, PhD. He is a clinical neuropsychologist on the faculty of Harvard Medical

School in the Department of Psychiatry. He began his career as a special education teacher

in middle schools in Ohio and Massachusetts, and for more than four decades he has specialized

in the neuropsychological assessment and treatment of children and young adults with ADHD

and LD. He serves as a consultant to schools across the United States and abroad, focusing on issues

related to neuropsychology and education of children and young adults with special needs.

And he's written dozens of articles presented many webinars about kids with ADHD and related conditions.

His book, which is titled, Nowhere to Hide, Why Kids with ADHD and LD Hate School, and what we can do about it,

examines the role of stress in learning and has served as a practical guide for families and schools.

For obvious reasons, we are so fortunate to have Jerome with us today, and he's going to take us

through explaining using neuroscience and behavioral science to help us really understand why motivation,

ways, and dips, falls and teens and children with ADHD and how we can implement some easy and practical strategies

to improve motivation in our kids and teens.
