And as some of you may know, we are an audio culture magazine designed to help you win your dinner party.

That's right. And this

week, we are departing from the usual menu in which we, you know, cover the latest in arts and in

food. To bring you something a little different, we are going to play you the highlights of a live

show we recently recorded at the Now Here This podcast festival, which was held in Anaheim,

California a few weeks back.

And there were tons of people doing their shows there.

There was us, Kelly McEvers from NPR's Embedded Podcast, and of course, Mark Marin from the WTF podcast.

Yes, Comedy Bang Bang and lots of other people, all these podcasts.

And, you know, that word podcast, it still seems like such a puny word for what all these

people are doing.

I don't like it.

But it seems like we're kind of stuck with it now.

Yeah.

We've been trying to get people to call it ear champagne.

No takers, strangely.

They won't do it.

That's funny.

I clean my ears with ear champagne.
