Psalm chapter 7 verse 11 says God is a righteous judge and a God who feels indignation every day.

I just got back last week from a part of Southeast Asia where I came face to face with the trafficking

industry in ways I had not seen before, just learning stories of victims who have been taken,

women, men, little children, and taken from their homes and things done to them

that couldn't even begin to describe on a

podcast like this and it was so sobering it was so sobering.

It was in a sense maddening.

Like I just, there's just this anger inside of me as I thought about the sinfulness and evil and wickedness in the world.

And so I come to Psalm chapter 7 verse 11 and makes a lot more sense in light of some of the things I just saw.

God is a righteous judge and a God who feels indignation every day.

He knows, God knows all of those stories.

Far more than I can even begin to comprehend I can hardly take in the

little bit that I have learned to think that God knows all of the wickedness all of the of the depths of evil in the world right now.

Absolutely, he is a God who feels indignation every day, and I praise him because he's a righteous judge.

It is good to know that there is coming a day when justice will reign fully and finally.

And that confidence is because God is a righteous judge.

I just think what if God wasn't a righteous judge? What if he was an unrighteous

judge? What if he was not just? We would have no hope of justice, ultimate justice in the world. The only way I can even process through some of the things

I saw and heard about in this particular country.

And it's not that it's just that one particular country.

These countries all around the world, it's my own country.
