All righty. We want to hear the whole story. Denise Brousseau is the CEO of the Thought Leadership Lab, a lecture at the Stanford Business School, and the author of Ready to Be a Thought Leader by Wiley.

She loves working with entrepreneurs and executives, particularly women on their journey from

leader to thought leader, as she believes that becoming the go-to thought leader in your niche

is the very best career insurance around. Denise has been featured in Fast Company, Entrepreneur,

and was recognized as a champion of change by the White House. Well, Denise, that's a scintillating biography to say

the least. Congratulations. Tell us what you're doing now that has you engaged and excited, if you

would. I think the good news is that I have this portfolio career, as I call it, Tom. It's got a lot

of different elements. So I speak, I coach, I consult with big companies,

I do some training, I do some facilitating, and I teach. So I get to kind of use all of my facets.

That keeps me pretty engaged. That's exciting. So do you spend a lot of your time writing?

How much of your time do you devote to that? I should be doing a lot more as I started on my second book. But it goes and fits and starts. When I'm working intensively, it'll be six months or a head down, don't do anything else. But in between, I do a lot of blogging. I'm just trying to capture some. And obviously with the new book coming, I'm working on also doing interviews for that.
