We are continuing 90s thriller month this week with 1998's enemy of the state

One of those movies where it's a good movie that I had had like an outsized personal response to.

You know when you're watching something and you're like, this is great, the cast is really excellent. The writing's pretty taught for a you know 90s thriller. This is very fun. I hate the idea of getting in trouble for something I didn't do. It isn't fair leave me alone I'm not responsible for

this I really found my my shoulders kind of moving up towards my ears over and over

again and again it's like it's a movie, Jocelyn.

Relax, you're not in trouble.

But I completely am with you, like the anxiety of like,

you didn't do anything wrong and nobody cares that you didn't do anything wrong.

You're in trouble anyway.

I hate it.

Exactly, it's a very stressful concept.

Also, this movie was shockingly prescient.

Oh, yes. Oh my goodness, this movie, like, really, I realized the 90s were a different time, but really hammering

home how much of a different time it was that this movie opens up with a Republican senator

getting killed because he won't pass a bill that will invade people's

privacy.

Yes, I know, yes.

He's very against it.
